Mark as Useful I got a call from them and I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. Then I called them back to find out who it was and it said it was out of service. This happened several times.

!!! I worried a little but not a lot because I haven't done anything wrong to anyone! I called back and also got the recording "please try again later" Then it beeped sounded like a voicmail so I left a message to the tune of their message. I'm waiting to see if I hear anything else.

Mark as Useful I received a voicemail from this moron saying he was "Officer" Shawn Phillips. Stated my SSN, address, etc. and that he was calling from some Federal financial institution and that someone would show up at my job and/or home address. I called back to inform him that I am a debt collector and that what he was saying is illegal. I researched the number and found this to be happening to people other than myself. Ultimately, after informing him that I knew this was a scam and that I am going to the FTC, he hung up.
